In the last few years I have made an effort to become more aware of the toxins we let enter our bodies as well as the carbon footprint of products (definitely still a work in progress). Food, cleaning supplies, cooking tools, and beauty products are some of the daily things we come into contact with so frequently it's not even a thought. Habits are formed when we are young and it's just what we do. Deodorant is one of those products.
Studies will show you all sorts of results. Some claiming mere theories, others claiming facts. If you've started any research on your own you may quickly find it to be overwhelming. So, say you've made your choice. You've read about chemicals, toxins, waste.. ( if you have not, there is a rabbit hole of information out there)..and your going to start small with changing your deodorant. It is, after all, something you apply to your skin daily.
Come to find out, many people say they tried an all natural deodorant and it did not work for them. I was convinced after a short time that they were right because I had 0 success either. IF you stick with it, your body really just needs a small amount of time to adjust the new formula. Simple fix, adjust in the winter! Some found it takes a week or two. Some a month. Others had no trouble at all. Keep in mind, everyone's body has it's own unique chemistry.
